Volunteer Opportunities Youth As part of the school curriculum, public high schools are making it compulsory for students ages twelve through seventeen to do volunteer work. Together with assistance from their teachers and parents, students can decide which skills and strengths they want to further develop to make volunteerism a stimulating and enriching experience.
